Innovation Award - MEDEA+/CATRENE
|Technikon as partner of the MEDEA+/CATRENE initiative is happy to announce that during this year’s Nanoelectronics Forum in Madrid – the European Largest event in Microelectronics and Embedded Applications, joining the Eureka MEDEA+/CATRENE and European ENIAC initiatives-, our MEDEA+ project on Trusted Secure Computing “TSC” has been awarded with the “2010 Innovation award” and recognized as the most innovative project of the year by the European microelectronics community. The award was given by Mr. Enrico Villa, Chairman of the Eureka Catrene Cluster and in presence of high level representatives from the Public Authorities and from major European ITC companies.
UNIQUE Promotion Video
|UNIQUE Promotion Video was uploaded to YouTube. The video was produced by Blipp-TV and describes the main aim of the UNIQUE project which is based on the use of Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs). The movie was firstly presented at the first UNIQUE review meeting in Leuven, on the 10th of November and the feedback was very positive. watch now
Two new employee started to work at Technikon
|On November 2nd 2010 Niina Uusitalo, BBA from Tampere, Finland joined the multinational team at Technikon. Niina studied Business Administration at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Now she is engaged in our EC Project Management Team and fosters on setting up and managing Integrated European research projects.
|On November 2nd 2010 Mag.a Nora Gerber from Baldramsdorf, Carinthia in Austria joined the multidisciplinary team at Technikon. Nora studied Business Economics at University of Vienna and rejoined our team after several internships at Technikon. Nora became part of our Industrial support team fostering on the planning and organization of national and international research projects.
Project Experiencing Europe 2010
|Technikon rejoined the International Exchange programme Experiencing Europe in 2010, organized in cooperation with WUS Austria and Fund dr Zoran Djindjic. From September 27th 2010 through December 17th 2010, in the scope of her internship, Anja Sisarica from Novi Sad in Serbia supports our project management team. Anja studied at Johannes Kepler University in Linz and at Sapienza University in Rome, and is currently enrolled in master studies of Software Engineering at University of Novi Sad.
A new employee started to work at Technikon
|MMag.a Martina Truskaller graduated in Business and Economics Education in 2009 and in Business Economics in 2010 at the Karl-Franzens-University of Graz. In the field of study of Business Economics she was specialised on Financial and Industrial Management. Since September 2010 she is working as Project Manager, in the project management team of TECHNIKON in Villach.
Technikon participates in the WiTEC conference in Tallinn
On the 2nd of September 2010 the final project conference of NiNA and FEPIC took place at the Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) in Tallinn, Estonia.
